It seems 100 hours is what they give to you to be up to speed. Not sure why he washed out, but we seem to lose a bunch of pilots from the TRG bucket. My theory is that we have bunch of cadets on our seniority list and they don't end up coming here. For whatever reason.

You already have a base assigned when doing IOE. So People who leave from TRG are washouts from systems. Cadets only show on the list once they come up to Indoc.

Just saw on their jobs site that the total required fixed wing time has been lowered to 250 from 500 and full credit for RW if an applicant meets the R ATP reqs. Has anybody been or known anybody hired at 750 with only the 250 FW total time?

No black helicopters here, but there are pilots on the seniority list that are not in training. It may have been in the past that people didn't show up until they were in class, but it has changed. It's possible that they add them once they are scheduled to take the ATP, but as chitolin said, once you start IOE you will have your base after you are done with systems. I started IOE 8 weeks after my first day of class, so I can't think of any reason someone would show TRG for more than 3 months.

Yes, I know a guy who had only 250hrs of fixed wing. He was military and had over 750TT when he started at SkyWest but most of the time was in powered lift.
