They will be lucky to end up at current Alaska rates with probably the same horrendous healthcare they have now. They have terrible Codeshare language and they arent too close to finishing this.
The company also has $300,000,000.00 in the bank, not all that great considering this climate, highly doubt they see any type of signing bonus and because this is their first CBA there sure as sh-t wont be “retro”.

Without a 5 hr per calendar day minimum, and taking a concession on the 22 hour layover language currently in place, we would have 10 hour 3 day trips (based on the bullet points).

So what is their incentive once they have transition, yet to be seen IROP/rescheduling language, no more swiss-cheese reserve lines, lower rigs, and aren't having to pay for additional software? That is the answer I'll be looking for.

I think they’re still gonna want PBS because it’ll make the operation more efficient, less pilots and all. I dunno, guess I’ll wait to see the TA before I overthink this to death.

My example was just to point out that only looking at calendar vs duty period is very short sighted. Duty/trip rigs are very important. A 3 day trip paying 10 hours means maximum 35 hours TAFB. Check in 11pm day 1, done day 3 10am, yes, it is a 3 day trip but gone from home only one full day. If you have no Trip rigs: check in at 1am day one, work till 11pm day two, TAFB 46 hours. Pays 10 hours, gone from home 2 whole days.
