Nothing really new. The Annex was closed for a few weeks due to an AC issue?
It's back open, for those who don't know, SFO domestic departures out of F gates shall meet at the FP annex in the rotunda. The old ops. The 777 has a few domestic trips, and one never knows when a pilot will show at the right place.
Just this trip, I spent 30 minutes looking for the CP. Darn, left late, and.....I didn't get a chance to make the gate area announcements that CS wanted me to make in support of the "Blitz" propaganda.
I don't blame the CP's, many are new, and many are new to SFO. It's Larry's problem as he doesn't know how to communicate his policy to his pilots.
Until he sorts this out, I'll keep leaving late every time I have to look for a pilot....it may affect my quarterly success sharing checks.

Larry is indeed the SFO chief pilot. It's a standing joke. If you call him Larry, he corrects you, "My name isn't Larry, it's Lawrence." He has virtually no respect in SFO due to his not having a spine, and not willing to do anything that might be construed as sticking his neck out for anyone.
So, many of us call him "Larry."

If you know who the SFO chief pilot is, then you should know this, but I'll cut you some slack.

My days of getting remotely excited about the words “proud owner” are long gone.

I'd say like a nickel on the dollar. There. There's your retro.
The financial screw job that the 767 300 pilots is huge. Those guys should have a 50.00 per flight hour retro check coming. I don't see that coming. I don't see any retro coming.
My take on the contract is that we're playing "nice-nice" at the table. Here we are a year past amendable date. We're in good times. And we can't tell management to pound sand over scope? Seriously. Scope isn't for sale. Move along, negotiations are over. Give us our pay raise and have a nice day.
If pilots are hanging their hats on retro pay they're crazy.....The union should put out a statement to clear up any lofty expectations.

No one asked me about the "Blitz."
I find it comical. I do my job the same way every day. No different. Some times we are on time, sometimes not. The on time statistics do not start with me, but it does end with us....pilots.
1. Ramps inability to get the bags/cargo on.
2. Constantly waiting--required to wait for final Haz mat on ACARS before pushing.
3. Inability for ramp to deliver a plane on time to the gate from MX base
4. Don't even get me started on cabin cleaners.
5. Can't board without catering complete.
6. Gate agents inability to check bags on a full 777 and then amazed we leave late.
7. Can't board when short of flight attendants--because their connection is late. The best is when they are on the ramp waiting for your gate!
8. No or late MRD.
9. Water and lav service. Really?
10. But my favorite lately, Can't find the copilot because they are at the wrong place for a domestic departure in SFO. Larry and his annex antics....
