During the last 4 years the attitude and SOP of the MEC has been to not answer any questions or comments regarding a new TA. “The company is losing money, we are not in a position to negotiate!” has been the standard curt and rude answer to any and all questions regarding negotiations. Then all of a sudden and out of thin air, and with no ability or method of membership input we get TA2022 dumped on us.

Todd’s self serving and tyrannical leadership had no room for membership input. Todd’s way or the highway is how his MEC ran things. I went to the LEC meeting last week and it was ran the same, shut up and do what we tell you was the prevailing tone of the meeting. And it got ugly. This entire batch of Todd sycophants need to be shown the door. There is no world in which this TA cuts the mustard and for the MEC to be this out of tune with the pilot group is beyond amazing, in fact it’s shocking, disappointing and surreal.

100% truth. Yet this TA has been “paused” for 3 months so Todd can run for national president and avoid the stink of this failure that he is 99% responsible for. The United pilots are merely along for the ride.

There are lots of cringy characters stepping up. Would be great if more in the middle stepped up. Totally agree that both ends of this are f-Ing weirdos.
