Would give previous 121 guys 6 months or more head start over other new hires who need 1000 hours. Was the only provision that gave me pause initially, although I also want to see verbiage of SL limits of 95 hours.

that 2:30 has nothing to do with MPG, min calendar day and min average calendar day are all in reference to the actual pay for a trip. That min calendar day keeps them from loading all the flying into less days than the trip length and then forcing a day off layover in a city that results in no extra pay. I.e. fly 8 hours day 1 and 3 and layover day 2 and results in no extra pay. Now that 2:30 would kick in for that middle day as well

That's why I said they'd be in the right seat anyway. For 6 months, a year, or around that time. It would be their assignment. With no way out. They'd be in the right seat until they get the time. But make no mistake, they will be going to left seat training and be stuck in that seat for a long time. So why would anyone senior enough to avoid it in a new hire class take it? That's what I'm getting at. It would drop to the bottom and at that time, it'll be forced.

We hope. There might not be any unfilled vacancies on this current bid after folks see the AIP, but if it turns out that certain sections of the AIP won't be implemented right away, we could go back to seeing unfilled left seat vacancies.

depends on language but that might not be an accurate Statement; the bullet points indicate that it can be offered to and accepted by a new hire but that training would not occur until the 350 hrs requirement is met.

If it's in a new hire class drop, and falls to the bottom, those new hires at the bottom could be left with no choice but the left seat bid. That's what I mean by forced.

‘I seriously do not think it will show up in drops…. But I am willing to buy you a beer if the language allows that to happen.
