with regards to the TA, if there ever is one, do you guys have any "dealbreakers" that must be in the TA in order to get your yes vote? life at the bottom is much different than life in the middle or top. some things are more important to others and i'm curious what the consensus is, or if there is one. if they don't address the chronic way they reroute or change your schedule, it will be a no vote from me. because when you FINALLY get off reserve, it's like you are back on it again. so frustrating.

Major airline industry standard across the board. Not just pay scale either, but all the so-called "soft costs" as well. Pay means nothing if it's not accompanied by work rules to structure the pay. Flying 2.5 hour blocks five days a week will make that very clear. I don't subscribe to the idea that 'it's a first contract' or 'Comparable Airline' garbage. Allegiant is the most profitable Airline with the best paid executives. They can easily afford better pay and benefits and they will. The ball is in our court and it's the 'perfect storm' for us. We will get whatever we are willing to fight for.

As time goes on, the type of contract I will settle for has changed dramatically. The more the company stalls, the more I'm going to want. They will learn this lesson on the next contract which will undoubtedly include retro pay. Either pay now or pay a lot later.

If you guys are serious about the things you post, I hope you have at least six months worth of living expenses in your personal strike fund.
But, it's easy to talk tough on the web. I predict the contract you all vote for will be significantly less than legacy norm. And then, you won't find a single pilot who will say they voted for it.
And retro pay? LOL. No me gets retro pay any more. You get "signing bonuses." The last contract I was involved in settled for $15K when full retro would have been over $100K. So, good luck with that.

Says the guy who's been lobbing grenades on this board at Allegiant pilots for months. How about some words of encouragement instead of predicting our demise?

I know at least a dozen ALG pilots. These are all hard-working pilots who have been busting their tails for years for terrible pay! I don't think they will approach contract negotiations with unreasonable ideas. They simply want to be compensated for their hard work. The work ethic is there, and so is the money, so it's time to be compensated.
