Thanks for the input. I never accept anything less than business for international DH's. I have called them on that many times.

First you said you found a coach ticket to NRT cheaper than gateway(which is domestic), and had them buy it for you....now you say never anything less than Biz for international DH. Which is it?

DH is not gateway travel.

In any case, listen to the travel committee. It appears I was wrong, and that isn't an acceptable practice.

Thanks for the responses. Sounds like base then out. Not a problem, I couldn't get many places non-stop from DEN (in Asia or Europe) anyway. It would still beat commuting every 2 days. Good Luck out there.

Should be plenty of classes soon, as I know of 10 resigning myself. The last three crews I've flown with each had somebody with interviews lined up also. When captains making over $200 an hour are leaving like they are you know it's not a good sign. Still no negotiations scheduled.

What's the usual timeline from application submission to call/online exam?

Thanks in advance.

Here is my experience - long time and several attempts/walk in's to get the written invite:

Applied: 10/26/2015
Written invite: 8/05/2016
Written submitted: 8/12/16
Interview invite: 9/02/16
*Interviewed 12/02/2016 @ White Plains NY

Preferential "Offer" 12/09/2016

3 years at a 121 Regional in the EMB-145 ('06-'09); last 8 years at a 91 as a US Govt GS-13 in the DHC-8.

I had to pass up a Sept 29th interview invite; lost about 20 positions or more of seniority - but I don't think that will be much of a factor with the rate people are leaving. I have 2 friends there who are happy and hopeful for better days ahead.

If for no other reason, the potential to move into a leading major is strong...if Amazon feels the pinch, it may be the leverage the Pilot group needs. Before anyone craps on my post - I'm focusing on being happy in my choice to transition. That whole positive attitude thing - I want more time to fish and run my small business on the side...govt gives me 6 days a month off at most.

Don't count on it.

Your assumption proves that you don't fully understand the situation at Atlas. Too much Koolaid at the interview.

At this point in time you would do better to go to K4, with real home basing. At least their management have shown an ability to negotiate.

Atlas management will never negotiate, they will only circumvent.

Not defending anyone... BUT- K4 didn't even get things in their new TA- that we have had since 2011- and how long did they negotiate for ??
