Hes saying 35 people ahead of him bid NYC717A as their first choice, and 124 total senior to him had a CA bid in also, so he doesn't have a chance of getting one of the 20 CA slots.
I put my bid in for NYC717B and at the time of closing, I was #9 on. That means there will be 21 unfilled slots potentially to NYC on the 717, which could go to new hires. I expect to see the bottom guys in class getting 717 NYC from here on out. Finally restoring order to this bizarre summer when ATL slots were going junior to NYC slots
So strange.

Dude, I remember chatting with you prior to your interview. You're welcome, btw. Never heard a word from you after the fact. Not cool.
You were nervous. You got the job. How 'bout you pay it forward a little instead of being the new sage on the block. Honestly, you're making me sorry I ever gave you my time or insight.
How 'bout you just buck up, get through indoc and train.

As to my advice to Ponce. He and I are very good friends, my message to him is the strongest encouragement I could've given him on a public board and he knows it. I also called him immediately after I found out via this board to offer my congratulations and offered to help in anyway possible. I see how somebody who doesn't share our background could see my message differently, but to quote our administration, this is a phony scandal, there's nothing to see here.

Regarding the question about any warning letters on record with the FAA, including those for which no penalty was assessed or certificate action taken due to ASAP, I have received a warning letter from the FAA several years ago. I did fill out an ASAP report and wasn't violated for the infraction. However, I just requested from the FAA, their records of any such letters or any other enforcement actions or accidents/incidents and they say there is nothing on file. I currently still have the one previous warning letter listed on the addendum because of the wording of the question, I figure the FAA has a record of it somewhere. Would you all agree with this in the spirit of honest disclosure or advise deleting it as the FAA says there is nothing there. *Note, Im aware, that warning letters are stated by the FAA to be expunged I believe 18 mos after issuance.

Do not remove it from your app now. If you remove it, it will possibly cause flags on your app. Every change you make is updated to delta.

I don't quite understand your question. But I did mention in answering the question, that I have received a letter of warning in the past but that I recently requested the status of such things from the FAA which turned up no record. As I said, warning letters only remain on one's record for 18 mos I believe and Im sure DL knows that. Everyone says full disclosure is the best policy so I just wanted some other opinions.

Thats what I thought. I kept it in there. But now Im worried because I did delete a "discipline" letter that I previously listed because Im sure its not there anymore. The question reads "do you have", not "have you ever had". Suggestions on that one?

I'm glad I'm not trying to get hired at Delta now.

So strange.I have personally seen an award where I had over 70 pilots senior to me 1st choice. Bid what you want and be ready to fly it. If you don't really want it don't bid it. There is a lot of movement taking place and you might be well served by waiting a bit for what you really want.
