They actually had to admit it at msp roadshow. Reserves will be used more. Good luck getting green slips.

Riviera Beach is a tough run, if you take your dog for a night walk, wear your bullet proof vest. To my way of thinking, not the best r.e. investment.

Denny-

I'm not sure on exactly how they will run it, but the language indicates they wont let guys into a virtual base unless they are already qualified on whatever plane the co has decided to "virtualize" that month/quarter/whatever. I would guess there may randomly be LCA in the virtual bases, especially if there is one in MCO, but Since the trip pulls are only for known OE, I dont think they'd be using that trick there. (My logic is all guys already qual'd = no way to have known OE.)

To be honest, other than cities with masses of Delta guys to assure manning (MCO/DFW/BOS), I'm not sure its really a practical deal for scheds. How the hell would they ever know if they were going to get enough guys to bite until after they had made plans? I didnt see anything about guys being non-vol'd into the virtual bases.

Well something Atlanta 777 drivers should of been concerned about in this TA . If they would of banded the A330 to 777/747 like other airlines I would of headed there when cuts come to the whale, but in this TA IM NOW HEADED TO ATL 777. Sorry bottom 777 dwellers. Vote NO!

So you're saying you are headed to ATL 777 whether the TA passes or not?

Kind of a weird incentive to induce guys to vote no.

I totally get the $$ decision. I just didnt know the 330 banded with 744/777 was even up for discussion. I thought we were all against pay banding.

Would you still be for it if the co agreed to band them, but insisted on a prorate average of the rates? Like we have 50 330s and 34 777/744, so 50x330 rate + 34x 777/744 rate divided by 84? (Fleet numbers are for example only btw.). Or just a plain average of 777 and 330 pay so that 330 pays more but 777 pays less? In either case (including the current TA) the 330 at DAL pays more than the 330 at AA.

Did anyone else notice that every endorsement from the heads of other pilot groups (SWA, FedEx, AA) in the latest email from the MEC fails to acknowledge any of the actual details in the TA? Every single person gives praise to our MEC based solely on positive "rumors" they've heard about the TA. So they are blindly endorsing a new contract without knowing any of the details or concessions? What blatant abuse by our MEC with a bunch of inaccurate propaganda...
