Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?

Yep, had one base assigned during ground, vacancy came out, was home based once IOE was completed. Initial base isn't end of the world. I wanted 200 and got it. It's my first jet and it's a fun plane. Ended up being a good choice, with more coming from Kingman.
What is differences like? I know there is an oral and PC, but is it handled differently than initial?

Nobody gets satisfaction in failing someone. If nothing else, the paperwork sucks. So it's avoided, unless it's needed. It happens, but it's rare and normally a result of attitude to not study the things required. It's not rocket science and a much "simpler" process from when I started where you needed to "build the plane". You will be trained on how everything works, and will be checked on what you can control from the flight deck. Everything is laid out with all resources available to learn. Bring a good attitude and a desire to learn and all will be well. Basic instrument skills will be helpful though...

My only critique is the training footprint. It took about 3 weeks total, and I was the first to finish in my class. 4 days ground school, 2 FTDs, 3 sims, oral and PC, with 2-3 day breaks smattered in between all the training events. Positive space to and from your home address to training when you have 2+ days off.

Differences from a pilot perspective of 200 vs 900:
If you are 6'2' you can stand up straight. Taller? Still hosed from my 6'2 POV.
Bleed(s) is automatic
Fadec aka, climb well above FL180 better than the -200
2 FMS heads
Meals on long legs (-200 limited to 750mi)
Forward lav (worthless when doing less than 750 mi legs)
CA's make more, FO slightly more than -200... But living on reserve longer.
In the end, -200 FO will make more in first 18 months. Do the math.
That's it.

With all the classes being split and AQP style training, what could someone expect for an overall initial training footprint. I understand it will vary from class to class and person to person. I'm just looking for averages.

They said it is taking 90 days, that seems like a long time to me but apparently they said it use to be 120 days. I am assuming that includes IOE.

The only down side to training is commuting IMO. You get paid the same, go home every few days. So don't fret about how long training is.

Commuting during training? I was told it's all positive space, paid for by the company. If you have two or more days off, they will buy you a ticket home.
It was 10 weeks from day one to my check ride, I was the first one done. 2 weeks at least for IOE including the 5 days off after Sims.
