It is me and I was looking at the month of February. March is, admittedly, better.
Per the interactive seniority list, for February the 2/26/18 doh is right about the jr lineholder.
March looks like 4/23/2018 doh would be it before being pushed down SOME by the senior pilots bidding reserve.
Feel the difference between that and "couple of months of reserve"?

The plug is a 8/2018 hire for DFL.
2/2018 hire is in the top 80 in base/equipment.

Interactive seniority list, as updated this February, with me (01/18 hire) selecting DFL "what if" for March 2019 shows just about 200 total pilots in status, 100 senior to me, 100 junior to me and 80 reserves.
In plain English, that translates to me and twenty pilots below me being able to hold a line as DFL, if no senior guys bid reserve on purpose (so 4/18 hire being the most jr). Looking at the March DFL reserve list, I see 9 pilots senior to me bid reserve.
So, with that in mind, lets say 30 pilots below where I'd be on that seniority list is where the lines stop and reserve begins. That works out to 5/18 hire.
Now, people going into training this month etc can shift that a bit too, but for practical purposes, that still equates to 10-11 months to hold a line since doh. Not two months.

For starters, "the plug" means something other than what you think it means.

I really don't get where you pull your numbers from. 1/2018 hire would be in the top 70 (seniority number 1750ish).
3XP shows the most junior DFL lineholder is an August 2018 hire. He's around 125 in base/equipment and a seniority number ~2100.

Why don't you stop playing with the interactive seniority list, and just look at what was awarded?

Can we move on now? For the record, I gave you very specific sources of my numbers above.

And for the record, the source you gave does not seem to be accurate, hence the confusion.
Nr. 100 on the list is a 5/2018 hire. So you simply can not be a 01/2018 hire, and have 100 pilots senior to you.

Why don't you go look at it yourself?

Nr. 100 in DFL is 1960 seniority number. His DOH was 5/7/2018.
Most junior hard line award went to seniority nr. 2096. His DOH was 8/13/2018.
These are the facts, backed up by the actual seniority list and 3XP.

This is what happens when we have four different sources for the same information, none of which agree, only one of which is “official” and it’s known to be wrong. Too bad we can’t get accurate info from either the company or the union. Or better yet from both.
