It is. If I truly was twisting my moustache against the flow, I wouldn't have done that.

I feel the same way about you, the usual suspects. I see you've all coincidentally (not) shown up at the same time right on schedule.

Ah, the power of the email.

Heard from some people in training that Ric came in for some Q and A and people questioned him pretty hard. When one asked, "do you really think it will be 2.5/6?" He responded, "Did I say 2.5? I think I said 3." That's not helping anyone's trust level. But... Supposedly more "good news" coming next week to keep that "momentum" building...

Bets on what the news will be?

Excercising the options?
Taking back planes from Expressjet? TSA? Compass?
Something relating to Reublic's recent bankruptcy filing?
300 upgrayyyyyyyydes?!?!?!

Well, I read that blast from the MEC and DFW reps and the "cautious optimism" phrase is one used umpteen times before only to.....as some say, result in being "underwhelmed". I have heard a rumor of another order of E-175's for Envoy (actually 40 again), so perhaps there might be something good this time. It would make sense as Envoy is slated to be essentially an E-jet airline. I wouldn't necessarily be growth, per se though. More importantly, should that occur it WOULD have the potential to improve schedules as it would bring back more mid-day flying.

But, that was before the RAH BK and although if true, I don't think that would alter another batch of E-jets for Envoy, but now Parker & Co. are no doubt mulling over their options regarding RAH and there are several potential options which may or may not add a new equation to AA feed.

Good news may or may not becoming. That's what the union email said anyway. "When and if..."

More 175s would probably not be growth airplanes. The first batch of 175s are through summer 2017. By then, the first 20 145s should be transferred to PDT. A new 175 order would probably go hand in hand with an equal further transfer of 145s to PDT. It would probably help recruitment since it's something other than bad news. Net fleet count would probably remain the same. This helps to bring the net fleet count over at PDT up and continues to make all 3 WOd carriers closer to the same size and brings more flying under AAG, but I digress...

As for RAH, Parker and Co knew this was coming since they had to have been in negotiations since the RAH contract got signed to get more money from AAG.

Anytime a "big announcement" has been announced, yes, they are always underwhelming.

Now that's just too funny. I sincerely hope that's not really what happened, but if it did I wouldn't know what to think. It would imply he's too stupid to realize it's in writing in multiple messages, some personally from him. It would also imply he thinks us stupid enough to be ok with him saying something like that. If, of course.

6? I think I said 10.
