You don't have to go into further debt to work there.

So this should increase the hiring to 5 pilots instead of 4 per month.

Good Luck!

Pay, movement, adding airplanes and good managament/labor relations would be my guess. You know, all things envoy lacks.

It's getting there for sure. Give it another year, the regionals will be so desperate to keep this C scale afloat I'm sure you'll see crazy things.

Rantings?

My perception is distorted?

Now that's distortion of the facts. How many ex-eagle have you spoken to at AA? I see them all the time. They all have the same story - it takes a long time for the eagle fears to wear off. The checkride paranoia. The worry about being hassled for delays. Lied to by scheduling. Lied to by management. Being treated as part numbers. Treated like children. Having to fight for (and often still losing) contractual rights. Wrong paychecks. Incorrectly coded delays. Christ, the list could go on for pages.

Yeah, I'll be doing everything I can to forget this place, except for the awesome people I work with every day that keep their chin up despite being screwed with and screwed over in multiple ways every month.

That's reality.

So's the fact that Charlie Bucket will never make the 2.5 he was promised last year. Nor will your ever changing total of three hundred and something-odd pilots flow to AA this year.

You must be Eaglefly's or agxxx's DFW desk twin. "Rantings". "Perception of reality." You guys sound alike.

But I'm the crazy one, right?

Nothing is confirmed until it happens. And even then company might change its mind.

That and they pay their FOs well. Which is why we will be always begging for scraps.

Exactly. Why we will always be last in line for new hires.

Things will NEVER be perfect here, but it sure as heck is a lot better here then some other regional carriers. On top of that, not having to stress about job fairs, applications, and interviews is priceless...that's another job in itself.
What happens when the flow slows this summer and maybe, just maybe gets its numbers cut later in the year as desperation sets in when Envoy can't hire the numbers it needs.

Why not go to job fairs and apply anyway? Sounds like laziness to me. Or maybe skeletons in the closet, DUI's, etc. Basically, not hiring material anywhere else and you are stuck with Envoy for life.
