Anyhoo, since you've started this dust-up and in true "FlameNSky" fashion wish to see the pyre grow larger,...................in more factual news for those considering Envoy, reiterating just SOME of the present realities there, apparently many line value averages are in now the mid 60 hour range, many schedules like that have only 11 days off, reserve is long, painful and be it line or reserve, you don't fly and build many hours, by end of March only a handful of pilots will have new upgrades, so the 2.5 year claim has collapsed and thus the 6 year flow projection linked to it aside from being way too far out to rely on, is floundering as a result of the upgrade collapse. No new Envoy bases are anticipated aside from the present 2 (down from 6), morale is generally very low according to many pilots and the question is just how do these revelations compare to other similarly sized regionals ?

My bet, is not too well. Hey, if I'm going to be accused of something, I might as well live up to it. So, my thanks to this guy for giving me a new lease on life here in what I post. From now on, I'll continue to avoid personal attack, but instead report more of the bad & ugly at Envoy with no bones about it and leave them (yes, some of them are a coordinated group) to the task of disputing it with personal attack as opposed to facts. My posts however will be short and sweet (well, some would say "sour"), so that will be one relief for many.

He's the master of knowledge and tinfoil hats in his own mind and wants nothing more than to prove it to the internet world, mostly because real life people stopped listening to him a long time ago. Even the few friends he has left are ass-hats.

Sorry, he's WAY too far gone for that. Once obsession takes over, it takes over. 2016 has just started and everyone can be sure there will be much to report about Envoy courtesy of FlameNSky and his big can of gas.

 

Now your Eagle wings stand for every crumby reagional that flys for AAG. I wouldn't pledge too much allegiance to "Eagle". Just wear your uniform, do your job, collect your pay check!

They were my first "Airline" wings for the first company I ever worked for. Yes, even back in the days of "American Eagle Airlines" it was just another crappy regional. They still meant something to me. Still do I guess.

LOL, you're right. I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't poke the crazy old man but I recently came to the end of the internet. I'm really board and getting his blood pressure up is the only fun I get to have anymore.

I'll do my best to stop engaging him directly. As we do in the cockpit though, I will still have to make reference to his eccentric ways for my personal enjoyment. I usually start out with a good Carl story, then I'll move over to a Commander Ted Story, I'll tell the one about the Leather Jacket if things get slow, but invariably we end up laughing about eaglefly/thrustlever. When things settle down and the is a long period of silence, I usually say, "Hey, did you ever hear about the Kennedy Steamer?" That generally gets things going again.

 

To be honest I wear the ENY stuff only so I make sure I hold onto the Eagle things that we all so proudly wore prior to this "great" name change. Don't want to find my wings have fallen off because my safety vest caught them or something now that the CP no longer has replacement wings in the AE style.

The AE items are something that the other WO's can/will never have so I keep them at home now.
