Heck most people who post on EL dont even work for Eagle/Envoy anymore.

If this is how management is going to handle the flow moving forward, then be prepared for pain. They're metering now? Just wait until we are even marginally understaffed.

Btw in regards to your snide investment comment, I just sold all my shares of Facebook for a nice 80% return, thank you very much.

It wasn't at you.

Maybe change job fields if you're investment acumen is so good, I'm sure people would pay you handsomely for your advice. On the other hand, one good investment does not an expert make. I made 6x my investment on AAL in bankruptcy, but I'm not telling you what to do with your money.

Tell me where I defended them? And if you actually knew what the contract said you wouldn't have opened your mouth because they only sent as many as the contract required them to.

Go look it up, I'm not spoon feeding anyone here.

Yeah, flowing 30 a month to AA is an absolute tragedy. The sky is falling, chicken little!!

Same goes for you.

Go call one of your friends to look it up, if you have any. It has to do with the arrival of the 175. They sent exactly as many as they were supposed to.

But I guess our contract is just spin, right? Or the fact that your "facts" are full of it.

Take it easy guys, things will continue to move, but it's not instantly.
So by your logic, we should trust them to true up to 50% later this year because that's what the award states, even though they should have released 50% this month BECAUSE THATS WHAT THE AWARD STATES. Am I following your logic?

Either you're willfully ignorant or just cherry picking.

I can't believe I looked this up just for you:

Upon delivery of the first EMB-175 as set forth in Appendix D and assuming
824 Envoy pilots have not flowed through to AA at that time, 50% of all AA new
hire training slots, no fewer than 30 per month (subject to the 50%), shall go to
Envoy pilots until a total of 824 Envoy pilots have flowed through to AA.
As you say: "THAT'S WHAT THE AWARD STATES."

You don't get to pick and choose which part of the award is applied. As to the true up...who the heck knows. If there aren't a large number of letter T pilots, things should be OK. If a bunch come back we're screwed unless the work some schoolhouse magic.

If a bunch of t pilots goes back to AA, even street hires are screwed.

Yes. It's bad for everyone downline except for the T pilots.

So if you're not defending managements actions are you okay with the fact that we didn't send 50%? It's a simple yes or no question.

Why didn't you highlight the part of the award that clearly states 50%? Or the part of the original 824 agreement which highlights when it is acceptable to meter? Here it is for your viewing pleasure...

"As such, AE management will release no fewer than 20 AE pilots per month in a month in which AA is entering new hire pilots into training, in an effort to meet the 50%. If AE management determines that they can release more than 20 pilots in any given month, they will do so. "

So my question to you is do you think management had a viable reason for determining they could not release more than 30 pilots? (For those unfamiliar, this is the original 824 agreement. The number 20 was changed to 30 as part of the most recent contract)

And please, don't talk to me about stock advise. I'm not an expert and never claim to be. I was merely shooting down the fact that you said something to the effect that I have no forward thinking in one of your many petty jabs which I've seen amongst a lot of you recently.

No. I am not ok with it. I disagree with what the company is doing. 50% is 50%, but they use their own math.

The stock jab? So be it. You used it in defense against a comment that had nothing to do with you, which I already told you had nothing to do with you. If you wish to make it about you, please continue to bring it up.
