Not necessarily. I don't blame a single pilot from any carrier that flies routes formerly flown by another regional. That's a big problem, but it's all management's fault. Say you are a DTW based CRJ-200 ASA FO, live in base and DL shuffles that flying to the New Eagle who flies the EMB-145 on the same routes. You then have to commute to ATL and while you listen to Eaglets say that DL was going to shutter the ASA DTW base anyway and displace. It's a whole different story then.

My apologies. I left out the AE pilots who were displaced. That sucks. I've been through my fair share of bases and never been able to live in base so it doesn't readily occur to me what the LAX people are dealing with.
The positive way to look at it then I guess is that AE did not furlough. If it makes you feel any better I am in no way benefiting from the new AE flying that Xjet is picking up. (not upgrading, going to DFW, etc...)
I also never blame a pilot for flying a different regional's previous routes... just the whipsaw game of the regional world. It would be better to work for an airline that filled it's own seats, determined it's own routes, capacities, etc... maybe some day.

No one wants to take a moment and walk in someone else's shoes. "It's all about me" seems to be a common view these days. I always tell guys to think about what they are doing before they do it. You'd be really surprised at what kind of effect you have on other people. And it's not always good.

Coming from the guy that told ASA applicants not to read the gouge online because it was "cheating." I think you can figure out what he was saying but of course that would require a little common sense. In such a small world you have made yourself look very narrow minded and petty on both our company forum and here.
