So, does the commuter clause apply to those who live in base. It is snowing after all and the roads are going to be worse in the morning.

Anyone try or have to use this today? All interstate routes I would take are still showing blocked and I can't get through to CS. Will begin CYA maneuvers soon….

Haha so true Tony. I remember when I lived up in the N Ga mountains it was iced up. I couldn't even think about getting out on my gravel driveway let alone attempt to drive down the the mountain on a narrow, 2 lane iced over road with steep drop offs. Called scheduling, and yep, we need you to come in. Told 'em "listen I ain't taking the chance so I'm not coming in". Even the ATL airport was iced up and just about everything cancelled, but, hey, you're still coming in right? So true!

If you commuter clause out and your flight gets cancelled anyway I'm guessing no pay protection?
Do folks have to not call CS, stay at home and hope the flight cancells to get paid?
