Less than ATL or IAD but I've heard a couple guys coming that are in sim training when I was there for recurrent last week. As far as being used I would say not as much. We only have 10 airframes and they like to have like 6-8 sometimes even 10 reserves a day which is dumb. Then on top of that they have been TDYing ppl from atl for no reason but to maintain high reserve coverage. And then use them over guys sitting that are DFW based which is annoying. Ever since 117 kicked in Crew scheduling's answer to everything is more reserves. With that being said DFW is a pretty chill base with some good guys to fly with. Hope that helps. Last month we had 61 FOs, this month we got 57. So if attrition continues there's good chance you can get DFW.

Hoping to find IAH guys with some.commuting info. I have a real easy 1 leg.commute Hobby, but will need to get to IAH. What are the most reliable, least expensive options to get between the two?

I'm sure you could arrange a taxi or shuttle service. That won't be cheap at all if you plan on doing that consistently, though. I would think $40-60 one way
