You quoted the wrong pay table. The one you quoted doesn't happen until 2017. The correct pay table starting tomorrow (03/01/2016) provides rates approximately 4% lower than what you quoted.
I'd type it out, but I'm lazy and I'm working from my iPad and it'd be a PITA.

For anyone Hired 3/1/16 on, rates may vary slightly for anyone already on property, but it's negligible so I didn't bother...YES we need raises, but not as a TRADE for any WORK Rules...
CA. FO
1. $118.78 $37.59
2. $119.82 $67.85
3. $125.23 $77.48
4. $132.28 $81.83
5. $141.38 $87.46
6. $144.55 $89.40
7. $147.32 $91.13
8. $150.71 $93.23
9. $153.41 $94.89
10. $156.11 $96.57
11. $158.87 $98.28
12. $161.68 $100.01
13. $164.19 $100.01
14. $166.68 $100.01
Oh I almost forgot...2 year upgrades will quickly start lengthening again for anyone not hired in say the next 6 months, unless another Aircraft Order is announced. Frontier's 1 trick hiring pony will evaporate after this year, coinciding nicely with the big 3 increasing hiring! Hopefully this will give us some negotiating leverage!

I always like Aero's posts. Although it appears to be too much of that Colorado legal stuff or Koolaid.
F9 does have some of the best crews to work with. That can not be argued. But the posts about narrow body FO at the legacies making more than an Ca at F9 is the problem. And that's at year 3. Don't forget about the 16% into retirement, and better cheaper health care.
But at least you can pay a surcharge for your spouse and kids here. And Make lowest pay, lose money when you're displaced or don't take extensions, and stay in horrible hotels. They better wake up. Pilots now have a choice, work somewhere good or here. Wait, I know a great solution....implement a training contract??? Two year upgrade? That sounds great but getting fo's to sit in those seats is about to be an issue.
Sorry Aero.

I quoted that table bc it would apply for anyone hired from 3/1/16 on. they would make $37.59 first year, and then that table would apply on 3/1/2017

I've read a few comments about bad hotels the last couple of weeks. Anybody care to be a little more specific? I interviewed last month and looked through the the the bid packet (DEN) and noticed most the hotels were Starwood and Marriott properties. There were a few IHG properties, but they seemed to be the minority. I think Starwood and Marriott offer great hotels even at the base level, but what have you guys been seeing?

I've yet to stay at a "horrible" hotel here at F9, all I have been to are very nice with the exception of the temporary hotel we were at in Vegas for a month before they moved us to the Hyatt Place. But even that wasn't horrible. Guess it depends on your definition of the word, and pilots love to ***** and complain.
- Comfortable hotel with all the fixin's, or
- Good location.
We do not have short and long hotels, maybe one can be considered in a downtown or prime location, and there is usually one big drawback to each location we stay at. While you'll have the creature comforts during a trip, by the end of a 5-day trip it will wear on you. At this point, I don't bid trips based on layovers since they are all the same. The Baymont in Vegas had pilots in an uproar, and rightfully so. Fortunately, I only spent one night there, but it was soon followed by the glorious Best Western Milwaukee Airport. It really made me question how we pick our locations.
Bottom line, our hotel committee needs a change of leadership.

Just had mine and was not offered to come in for a face to face. Just wanted to see if thats the end of it then or if anyone else has had a different experience.
Thanks
