Murder?
Come on they have 600 guys we've got 6x that. Of which how many want to be based on the east coast? LGB might take a hit. After the fences came down I can't imagine it'd really be that bad for anyone. There'll be some who jump from the island to MCO and vise verse but end of the day it'll be a Wash. more planes more bodies, annoying yes murder no.

I can't see HA as a realistic partner unless JB plans on operating them as a separate entity. We are an east coast airline, HA is a Pacific airline. Neither of us have much focus on the west coast. The networks don't overlap, and barely even touch.
B6+F9 would fit together better and offer more synergy (Wall Street just got a boner). In 3-5yrs we could merge with AS, then another 3-5yrs buy/merge with HA for Pacific expansion.

Go look at consumer affairs for F9. It's an atrocious operation. EVERYTHING is outsourced to a third party. At least at our outstations we have our own gate agents, excuse me AO. Not sure how you integrate with such a sh^t sandwich.

Slowly and surely, erase and replace. Just like SWA did with AT. Everyone must join the cult.

Our Caribbean stations are almost entirely third party with the exception of SJU, I believe. They mostly do a pretty good job. I bet if we merged and then offered jobs to the several hundred former F9 "AO" peeps that Indigo axed we could get a decent amount to comeback and ease out the Menzies/Swissport/whomever.

For some reason I'm thinking that HPN requires all the AO/GO etc to be county or airport employees. I think it's the same for all the airlines there. IOW we don't have a choice as to whether or not to outsource or in-house our affairs there. Anyone? Bueller?
Wondering if it's the same/similar for certain Caribbean destinations as well.
