Those numbers may change slightly as the last 2 new hire classes haven't bid yet. I think a few in my class wanted JFK.

Not sure, but I think those numbers might be on top of the current classes. Possibly more. Aren't the class being run now and in Jan (maybe Feb) for the bid where all training was to be done by May? Might be mis-remembering that, though.

So on the jobs page it says that any profile that is not logged into at least once every 12 months will be considered inactive.
Once you update do you become active again?
I applied back in Sept 2011 but after the calls stopped going out probably didn't login to update until about 2 months ago.
Will that mark me inactive and leave my profile out of the group?

Any word on what the equipment and base breakdown will be for the January 9th class?

Now, as other have said, 98% of JetBlue's redeye flying is done on the A320 where the E190 does very little. Plus, 100% of transcon flying is done on the A320.
Something to worry about is what if you where one of the last guys hired for 6 months or a year. Which aircraft would you rather sit reserve on? (for 6-12+ months). To me, the A320 is the better choice, regardless of movement.
Just my opinion.......

I read on this thread the window was supposed to open this June, however talking with a friend who has a "good relationship" with those in charge of hiring, it may open as early as late Jan/Feb some time. Anyone else hear this?

Rapid movement true (to a point). But there there is still movement on the A320 due to upgrades (CAPT in both aircraft) and those going to FO on the E190 for seniority. However, in total pay, types of trips and destinations, the A320 is better. Plus if you talk overall productivty, both aircraft $uck, but there are more of the higher productivity trips (mainly Island turns, or other 7hrs plus per day type turns) on the A320.

All true if you are in the top 10%...for everyone else it's the same six west coast destinations and red eye island turns. I have flown a small handful of day trips in two years and that's on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. 20 days a month and barely break 80 hours.
