It wasn't worth it before.....I think this will become an unintended consequence.

Every situation is not a win-win for everyone.
How did FOs get "screwed with displacements"?

It doesn't. It's an "eff you" from the company. And it's a tacit admission of incompetence from a weak and feckless union that's more worried about a Norwegian airline taking a few customers away from Delta than it is in representing the interests of it's most senior, (and highest dues-paying) regional members.

Read the old language and the new language. The company has much more leeway when it comes to displacing FO's.

Ahhhhhh, no.

There was no language before. Now there is a limit. You are dreaming if you think FOs wouldn't be displaced whenever the company wanted if we had voted that thing down.

Under the old language, a pilot could not be displaced midtrip. If the pilot was not notified by noon on the day before a trip, he could not be touched. Now, a pilot can be displaced anytime.

The new language also gives the company explicit permission to displace FOs 6 days out. This contradicts the trip trade language that allows line holding FOs to trade up to 48 hours before a trip. Granted the old language placed no limits on how far out a displacement could happen after schedule award, the company honored the 48 hour window. In many cases they didn't after the LOA was signed.

And yes limits were removed for none IOE displacements.

As a regional job seeker; does this new agreement put PSA at the top of the list?

It seems like PSA is the place to go now. I read on airline pilot central profiles about psa's unproductive trips but this bonus seems to negate that.

The bonus might apply only to current FOs, not new hires.

Can someone clear this up? Thanks

There is a $15,000 new hire sign on bonus.

The $2,500 per quarter ($20k over 2 years) is a retention bonus for the FO's that are already on property.

The $3000 per year for hotels is for everyone.
