My guess it that it will involve better min day credit, increased flow numbers for those on property now (not dependent on total number of pilots), and some other improved QOL issues.

I agree that it will never be as good as it was. PSA pilots were the highest paid pilots in all of the regionals. But there will have to be an acceptable compromise. The arbitrator will have to agree to that.

How are they "hunks of junk"? As far as I'm concerned, they're pretty well maintained and suit the purpose just fine. In fact, next-gen or retro, I can guarantee no pilots here really care which one they're flying that day.
You guys really are all about new and shiny toys! I started my career here in a 20 year old ATR and had a blast!

The Envoy 700's seem to always have significant problems, and lots of MEL's. They are bent, do not fly straight, require signifiant trimming, and are just worn in general. It is not uncommon to have 3-4 MEL's on one of those. In comparison, it is rare to have more than 1 MEL in a PSA airplane, and I have gone several trips with never flying a 700 or a 900 with any MEL's at all.
So, in comparison, the Envoy 700's are junk.
I do care what airplane I fly when it means more work. No one wants to see an airplane with the APU deferred, or the FMS in-op, or the only lav not working.
