I ran into an old coworker from another regional on an overnight last night. We got talking, an he was asking how many hours of credit I received per hour of flying on average. I called scheduling today and got them to send me my FLICA schedules from the first 5 months of the year, and combined them with the last few months that I can still access.
For the year, I am averaging 1.423 hours of credit for each block hour. This includes training, cancellation, DH, and vacation.
Any idea what the average would be?

So I finally heard back from PSA and it doesn't sound like good news .. they said " they are persuing canadites who appear to match their requirements more closely at this time" ... now I did apply with only 1385 TT. Does this sound like flat out rejection or do they want me to get my time up and closer to my 1500tt and apply again? .. I mean I'm a cfii/ MEI so I don't know what else they could be talking about ...

I have a very hard time believing we are being THAT picky all of a sudden, I could be wrong but I think that would be foolish, these 121 guys will dry up soon. I'd say apply again at 1500 hours and get somebody to be a reference for you and you should at least get an interview.

Going to another airline is an option, however, if you're making good hours where you are a flight instructor then another sound option is to get the hours as quick as you can there and reapply. This could get another application in front of the decision makers months ahead of using another airline as a stepping stone. Training takes months in most cases before you ever log a single hour and reserve moves slow. You could get your 200 hours much quicker staying put.
