We differ in our opinions, and we will have to look back at this in a few years and see which one is correct.

I know that they are TRYING to grown the WO. We will see what is really going to happen.

If they can staff the WOs they will grow. They have shown that they are willing to do what it takes to make the WOs attractive and I don't think it will just stop there. Pay will probably go up again next year.

I was hired during the last 2 months of 2015 and I only received one vacation week in 2016. Read section 7 of the contract! Only after two years you get two weeks vacation. Don't spew false info if you don't know what you are talking about.

Then you got screwed, or I got lucky.

Edit. I went back, and you are correct. I was hired in the last few months of the year, and I had one vacation to bid immediately upon completion of training. Then, the next year (after I was on property for 14 months), I got 2 weeks vacation. I remembered incorrectly. I apologize. I did not mean to mislead.

So, to state it again, if you are hired in December 2016, you will be able to bid for a vacation in 2017 as soon as you finish training. Then, less than one year later after you finish training, you will get 2 weeks vacation in 2018.

If you are hired before December 31st of this year, then next October you will be able to bid 2 weeks vacation for the following year.

The PSA new hire pilot group is at the Hotel in Dayton and at the hotel briefing they said the group starting tomorrow is the largest class in the last 6 months or so. I think they said they had 28 booked. We'll see how many show up tomorrow.
