Comair updates?

Delta ZED started with just NW, CO, and AS, but they have already added more airlines as they continue to negotiate with partner airlines. ZED's are calculated based on actual mileage. For example ZONE 1 (1-450 miles) medium fare = $25, ZONE 9 (7101-9999 miles) high fare = $164. There are three levels of ZED fares, low, med and high (most airlines negotiate for med fares). ID-90's fares are charged on your buddy passes, not for your personal travel.
An HR person will take you thru the details of the pass riding when they go over your other benefits. Once you are employed and have access to the company intranet "TravelNet" site, you will be able to get all the details on specific route fare calculations and destination taxes.
I'd be happy to answer any more questions. Welcome onboard and good luck with training!

So all experts in Airliners.net are saying DL is fed up with Comair and we'll be gone for the merger. Yet no one ever mentions Mesa very much. I'm reminded why I don't go into a.net anymore again. I hope to find some intelligent "outside" info but a lot still seems to be garbage.
Worst source of information ever.

And another thing...I'm sitting L2 at home and they moved me to A2 tomorrow. Besides not giving a me a 12 hour callout, there are 2 pilots junior to me, that are available sitting L1 tomorrow. Should they have changed those one or two guys to a short window and me to L1? I'm going to call fowl on that when they notify me tonight.

yes although they will argue with you and say why move 2 pilots when we can only move 1. Because of course they would then have to move you to L1.

"the company will convert the most junior legal and available L1 or L2 pilot to SC.........
read that section, however they might have a letter of understanding which makes it all useless dribble.
I would also read this whole section carefully and call Bu*S* on the negative 12 hour call out, read 24-O-5, it says PRIOR to the start of the classification from which being reassigned......

SECTION 24-O:
b. The Company will convert the most junior, legal and available, LC pilot (LC1 or LC2) to the SC category when the SC category falls below the daily sixty percent (60%) allowance.
Example 1: The SC category is below sixty percent (60%). There are two (2) LC1 pilots and one (1) LC2 pilot. The most junior pilot is an LC1 pilot: he is the pilot converted to SC.
Example 2: The SC category is below sixty percent (60%). There are two (2) LC1 pilots and two (2) LC2 pilots. The most junior pilot is an LC2 pilot: he is the pilot converted to SC.
If there is an L1 or L2 junior to you tomorrow, that is legal and available, they should switch him/her to SC.
