Im not holding out any hope of a new contract any time soon no matter what is being said on here. And I dont hold out much hope of getting anything for loosening the cba either.

That was not a union rep. That was a union volunteer. I am happy to report he is not doing it anymore... or so he told us.

Try Perf 0. If you are early of course.

Even if you are on a soft time trip you are stealing from yourself in the long run. If you are *early*, slow down. Way down.

Relief up front was suggested. Bendo suggested paying for FPL for trip drops.... uhhh NO. We weren't going to take a sell out to you guys. His suggestion. Not ours. We declined and as a group did not reach an agreement on what to require up front. We were advised by our contract administration to seek it post injury. I have suggested vacation banks be credited enough to be able to drop some trips or sell it back as cash, on top of what is yielded from the NCCs. We shall see. We couldn't make a demand that none of us agreed with. And I for one will not be supporting any relief ever again. It was a mistake. Fool me once.

How 'bout management just meet us on our ask for the contract and call it good. If this latest irop was so bad, as we were led to believe, then 46 million over the life of the contract is pretty cheap when talking the folding of an airline. If we were that instrumental in getting the ship right and saving this place, we are worth a far lot more than some drop trips or vacation days. Or, the situation wasn't as bad as we were led to believe.

Good for you, Jason. That's a first around here, actually owning up to something and taking responsibility for it. I respect that, and hope that all of our leadership will hold the line the next time management comes around looking for a free handout.

Maybe you can just give 'em a pen and show those union-busting carpetbaggers where to sign on an industry-standard pilot contract.

I'm not the least bit happy about the relief that was given, without first having some type of agreement on what the quid would be for said relief. However that said, I am willing to see how this TA plays out...when it plays out.

BUT, I do know one thing...what I consider acceptable for our TA has gotten more expensive than it was prior to our little 'weather meltdown' contractual relief.

Total agreement. If the irop was so bad management owes us much more than a few extra sick days for helping save the company. If it wasn't as bad as advertised they owe us big for making us think it was and putting the integrity of this company at stake. The second case is even much worse. This contract is going to have to be pretty special in order for me to justify the risk of putting all my eggs in this company's basket when a little bit of weather can put us so far back on our heels.

I recently had a interesting monster commute on our flight. Captain of the flight was a FLL warrior. Out of my 14 yrs of commuting this guy took the #3 spot on my douche bag list. I would put money it's that same fool.
