Balder you are a joke to suggest skyvans would be 'in bed' with management. Why don't you explain how this line pilot would be bedding management. I can't wait to hear this.
Hey lemonade- chill out. If I want to post on the board ill do it by my own hand- without proxies or additional logins.

60% participation rate on the first survey?
That's fine, probably don't care to hear the non-participating 40%'s voice anyway. If they can't be bothered with filling out a 5-10 minute survey, I'm sure they wouldn't have anything constructive to say.

constructive /kənˈstrʌktɪv/ adjective
: helping to develop or improve something : helpful to someone instead of upsetting and negative)

Interesting concept, maybe we should try some of that on this thread

I am trying to book some buddy passes for some friends. I thought I remembered someone saying that there was a way to avoid being charged the $16/leg/passenger fee on the id90 website. Is there a way? (I know....I know...pilots are cheap ok)

You guys have many 5 day trips? Curious if your ULCC model predicates 5 days as a part of life?

No. 4, 3, 2, and 1 day trips.

Curious as to why an ULCC model would cause 5 day trips? The ULCC model doesn't have much bearing on the guys sitting up front, it just brings in gobs and gobs of cash for the company (and hopefully for the pilots in the next contract).

I also wouldnt credit being an ULCC with 4-5 days off between pairings either. I typically roll between 17-19 days off per month.

Exactly why I'm asking. At F9 we just got peppered with a sickening number of 5 day trips for November. The new markets we're going into are requiring them apparently. I wondered if it was something you all dealt with visa vis Indigo? I don't even know I used Visa Vis correctly. Anyway, perhaps it has more to do with the lack of many domiciles. I just hope it doesn't last.

We used to have a handful of 5 day trips but most of them were 4 duty periods with only 1-2 legs a day. They went senior. Lots of hotel time though. At the moment we don't have them but what we have instead is an increasing number of legs per day. My next 4 day is 3,3,3,2... still only pays 22 hours which is considered a "score" right now. sigh... Eventually we will get more and more legs I am sure. That is the ULCC model. Same bag fee applies for a 2h leg vs a 1h leg. More cities, more legs. I am not looking forward to that.

I get lazy and do enjoy some of the one leg to FLL to sit by the pool all day but I would do 3-4 legs a day if it meant 25-27hr 4- days
