Unfortunately a 747 to Anchorage was not enough to keep me at this company and there will be another open 767 slot this week. Best of luck to all. I've definitely enjoyed the crews, and checkairman at Atlas. The whole 767 process, not so much.
Congrats! Onward and upward...

Dare to be brutally honest in your exit interview?
Absolutely that's what they want, to find out why people are leaving. And it includes

No trip or pay protection
Low min guarantee
3 year seat locks
Bad retirement plan
Starting 747 class on a Monday and a 767 on a Tuesday to prevent bidding
The whole 767 process, lines
767 pay, work harder for less (3-4 legs a night anyone?)
Absurd training pay

Anything I'm forgetting that we are fighting for?

Trip trades/drop?
Atrocious profit sharing?
Sick pay that encourages flying while sick?
A max of 3 weeks vacation?
Imputed income?

Sorry...got caught up in the spirit.

In 2014 there is no reason to be considering anything other than improvements in every part of the contract.
Sorry, I don't see it that way...but we'll let the next ExCo figure out the priorities. Election is after all just around the corner...

I agree that we have to fix all sections in the CBA, but adding an item that is not really industry standard is not worth spending all the negotiating capital...all we'll get in return is weaken our position for the rest of the items we all want.

You are welcome to call me and we can talk about it...ask around for my number, or send me a PM.

No pay for sick time.
Crooked vacation policy that takes away pay when you use vacation.
Travel booking coach on intl trips instead of business class.
Refusal to book downtown hotels.
Failure to book cars for deadhead trips.
Refusal to supply appropriate catering.
Asking pilots if they are willing to violate contractual limitations.
Pay discrepancies.
Pitiful per diem.
Refusal to supply breakfast.
Constant requests to the union for contractual relief for unforeseen issues like AQP. ...

I have so many friends trying to join our company. Just disappointing to see so many distraught folks. Yes, we can band together and force change, but at the end of the day I know a dozen guys willing to trade places with you in a heartbeat. Just wanted to inject some reality. For what it's worth, this has been a great place to work...lots of good people, great equipment and good QoL overall.

Sounds like it's time for a change. Out with the old exco and put in new blood.

We are all forming the mindset needed for the fight ahead and it will be a fight. Yes, this place is better than many, but it is also worse than a lot. The company has not equally shared in the profits as a result of our hard work. The majority of the group posting I think are more junior Atlas pilots. We are in a unique position to make this place a tier one carrier or shut it down trying. After all, everyone else will be hiring if this company does not want to share in the profits.

To the people on here pointing out all that is wrong with Atlas, it is easy to fall into the trap of inaction. Please turn your energy into a positive outcome and get involved with the union. Our union needs you...especially for what is around the corner.

There is a difference between complaining and a war cry. This is our WAR CRY!!!

It is not just the Exco, it is the every single pilot in the pilot group...it is me...it is you.

We are going to have to change by getting involved and preparing for the fight ahead. Simply paying dues is not enough.
