I'm in the same boat. I took the test last week and anxiously waiting for news. Glad to hear I'm not the only one sitting on the bench! I'll post if I hear more as well.

Me three!

I was told my a friend there that he didn't think they would call until next week, they apparently have a history of giving short notice to both interviews and class dates, most people only get a little more than 2 weeks notice for class, and others doesn't even get that.

If you can swing it, call HR the Friday before a class starts. Now and again, someone drops out. If you can be in MIA on Sunday for two months of training, they might give you the slot. Worked for a guy in my class.

Does this advice go for the swimmers or the once who hasn't even interviewed yet?

I've sent PMs to a few of you that look like we're in the same position.

I'm heading to the Caribbean on Saturday for a 7-night cruise and wouldn't you know it, this is when the process starts! LOL! Happy of course, but wow, timing!

Could some of you getting invites for the exams and interviews post your quals? I recently heard a change in management has the HR team calling mostly long haul or prior ACMI guys, unlike the wide mix of backgrounds they used to pull from in the past.

5000TT, 4600 Turbine 121. 0 Turbine PIC. Prior military, but not in a pilot capacity. Master's degree. Internal rec.

No ACMI, no long haul, no heavy.

Took the test, waiting for further.

In that case, don't be shy about writing them or calling HR on Friday to tell them your situation.

Swimmers only. Anyway, should be a short dip in the pool considering how many classes we're projecting. YMMV.

There had definitely been an effort to help out furloughed 1224 guys recently. You might see a short-course class or two, especially after the ABX guys get furloughed (I hear there's a gentlemen's agreement to get all of them an interview - estimating 20 guys?). But even so, they generally do a good job of getting a range of guys: mil, RJ, plus a corporate guy or two.

Default Atlas Air Hiring

3300 TT, 1382 PIC all jet, former military and current regional pilot. Took and passed test Monday afternoon, hoping to get the call to continue.

Test info was spot on. Plenty of questions straight from the ATP bank. There were a few time and distance problems. Didn't see any oceanic problems but time expired on question 93. Time goes by quick.

Good luck to all that will take the test and congrats to everyone that has passed the test. Don't let anyone fool you it is a bear and do not take it lightly.
