Has anyone with an internal rec sent in around March/early April heard anything at all back yet?

We live in a transparent world where everything is put under a microscope and this would be very difficult to explain away.
Busts.....not as hard do explain as hiring someone who was arrested for drunk driving! I don't care as much about the busts....although 4 is a lot but drunk driving?

Typically takes around 30 days to get it pulled, scored, and an interview invite. It sounds like it's been slowing down lately in preparation for the busy summer season, so it they may be running a little longer than that.

Default Delta

Got hired through SSP.

PVT pilot bust (didn’t like my rudder
control during stalls)

CFII oral exam bust

UPT T-1 first checkride busy for not being fully configured before turning for a long base to final

T-1 oral instrument bust

So I technically had four too. I talked about how I was glad I failed, the lessons I learned, and how it made me a better pilot to the extent they were like “ok ok that’s enough”.

Default Should I even Try or wait a little longer?

2000 TT
1700 ERJ145
Working for a 121 Regional right now I have about 500 hrs.
Prior military experience as a C-17 Loadmaster (Aircrew)
I can probably get at least two internal recs. (Prior AF pilots working at Delta now)
BA Aeronautical Science 3.1 GPA
No Checkride Failures
No DUI's

My question is should I even fill out an app? or wait longer until I have more hours and I am more competitive?

Thanks

Always fill it out, it shows you want it the longer you have an app waiting. Plus heck, one never knows. Good luck!

Never hurts to fill out an application. They do love the stories of non pilots becoming pilots as well.

There is a lot to go through in the app, worst case you've done most of the leg work for when you're more competitive. They can't call you until you have an app in, better to let them decide when you're competitive than risk delaying longer than they would have called you.

Fill out the app. Let Delta decide if they want to call you. Don’t try and decide for them!
