What you don't understand is we have the worst vacation in the industry.

If we asked for 8 hours per day, that would not fly.

What doesn't fly is FedEx has 6 hours per day and we have 3:15.

If we are parked do we lose virtual basing? New pilot pushing sick leave? Do we reduce profit sharing? TDY?
Increased widebody ALV? 50 more 76 seat jets for DCI?

Ask Ed if the Executive Compensation Committee uses UPS and FedEx for determining his compensation?

Were you here for the previous TA? You might need a better grasp of the issues. No pre- verification with a rolling 12 month lookback is a massive concession.

Virtual basing as described is basically a blank check. Will cost a lot of jobs.

There are a lot more issues that need to be explained before we know the true scope of these concessions. Speaking of scope, why wasn't it improved?

Please get up to speed and delve into it before mailing in your yes vote.

I now know we are in for huge gains because the language details will be crowd sourced by at least 13000 individuals. The NN has only been out for a few hours and its been dissected and reread by everyone on SM. The true test will be if management can continue to control the rhetoric around questionable TA language. It will take UPS+ rates to even have consideration of any untested open ended changes.

I've looked over the NN in detail now at this point. My 3 reasons for voting no last time are gone. Now the company has to open up the checkbook appropriately in hourly rates, vacation, medical, and DC.

Wow. You are ok with almost no meaningful QOL improvements in this environment?

Ready to sign off on VBs without seeing the details? My rep indicated there are other concessions still being hashed out.

This NN was not an exhaustive list. IMO it was a way to start desensitizing us to all the gives in the works.

I've seen enough unless we see ups + on pay, vacation, retirement. That won't happen.

Ok, I read the title and thought we were ICED. That's a vasectomy procedure. Not ICED, wind the clock. Lot's of negotiating to go, who's the ICED author, huge D Bag.

Sadly I think we are in for more concessions. Particularly scope. JV and DCI. They will be sold as wins.

I.e. 50 more 76 seat jets for DCI and they will park all 50 seaters. As we learned from the 190 farce, they are parking all the 50 seat jets anyway. We don't need to make severe concessions.

JV scope into compliance immediately. Measure period shortened to 2 years. No teeth. Expect immediate non compliance and another small check in a couple of years instead of all those widebody positions we would have if management honored our contract.

Vacation selling.

Etc.

We'll see. So far you've been wrong at least from what's in this NN.

This is the most transparent MEC/NC that I've ever seen. I'll let them do their job. The company had better do the right thing and pay up, vacation up, medical up, and DC up significantly with full retro.

As always, pitch fork and torch are ready to go if necessary, but certainly not an immediate go to.

Im at point in my life that I am done "giving". My services are worth more than what our beloved management thinks. The markets agree with me.

I am ready to do whatever it takes. Its an embarrassment to call yourself a world class airline when you operate the oldest equipment, while subsidizing foreign airlines. Airlines that are operating brand new, top of the line jets. Old Delta 767s jets sitting at the gate, next to brand spanking new 787s operated by Skyteam members, being funded by Delta.

This has to be the biggest scam in history, next to the maritime industry. Our executives are making well north of 50million a year. Something doesnt smell right. I am worried that our focus on ME3 and NAI is mis-directed. We should be more concerned with our company trying to eliminate us.

I say, let it take as long as it takes. Im done HOAR-frost-ING IT OUT.
