I'd be willing to bet that the reason we see 20 a month and only for pilots on property is to keep the language in LOA 9 exactly the same or as close to the original agreement as possible. This give Delta a better chance of fighting Dalpa in arbitration. I hope and expect to see many changes to this as tike goes on.

We all need to sit back and relax. Keep doing the great work we have been. The more awards we get, records we crush, etc. There is always going to be bigger and better opportunities if we keep doing what we have been.

Delta needa 2k pilots asap and they know it. This is just one avenue to the mainline.

Yep. Keep chasing that carrot on a stick and Delta will keep pulling it further away, until they REALLY need something.

Mathematically 20 a month for 2,000 pilots is 100 months. Is your bridge agreement active for the next 100 months, or until the last ISL pilot flows? I doubt Delta has ever hired for 100 consecutive months. My pilot math says that would be 12/2011-3/2020. Not sure any time prior would even come close.

Still a 50/50 chance a Delta furlough comes down to your list in October when cares money runs out. Any time a Delta pilot flows down it adds months or years to your flow up.

I think Eagle started their flow in the late 90’s and some flowed in 1998, and the last from the original agreement flowed in 2017. They have had 2 or 3 different flow agreements since then.

Long way to go before a new hire is next up to bat for flow, and there is no agreement in place. Why is he/she owed that security from day 1 of Indoc.
not a chance

Since this flow thing is connected to scope and hinges on us voting yes, who gets the 35 airframes? Shouldn’t that be EDV, and shouldn’t that be added to the bridge agreement?

Also, if the flow up only applies to the pilots on property, when does the flow down expire? We are fools if it doesn’t...

I have the same question about the 35 large RJ’s. Originally I thought they were going to RPA?

Delta risks absolutely zero in offering us the flow, but has the potential to gain plenty. We have the potential to flow 2k pilots, which also benefits Delta.

Make the flow (up and down) open ended, give us the jets and up the number of protected airframes in the bridge agreement.

That’s my price for a scope give, since I’m going to be a Delta pilot with this agreement. DALPA can negotiate their own price for their side of the deal. It should all cost Delta dearly.

Well for starters, the agreement for 35 large RJs is not with EDVALPA, it’s with DALPA. To further that, it’s not for new RJs, it’s for existing ones that are already parked. The 35 parked planes are split between 9E, OO, and YX.

I have not seen the TA, but if it mirrors the Compass agreement the flow only applies to pilots on the ISL the day it is ratified. The flow down for DALPA remains in effect until LOA 9 is renegotiated. The rumor mill is the offer from DAL was a mirror of the Compass agreement to resume compliance with LOA 9. I would not expect there to be many, if any changes if the goal is for DAL to become LOA 9 complaint.

Personally, I want to see what the COL/Escalator raises are and what’s the protections for those of us who are bypassing. I’m not starting over this late in the game. And I’m not impressed with what Compass had for protection.

Yes, but they NEED EDVALPA to get those planes back in the air. OO isn’t going to entertain a flow down, and last I checked UA and AA were shareholders of YX. Who else is Delta negotiate a flow down with? Mesa?

I’m fine trading flow up for flow down, but if Delta wants to tie it to SCOPE (LOA null and void if they lose the SCOPE case) we should at least be the beneficiaries.
