I have to say that I’m a hard no on THIS flow deal. I would love a flow, but it’s unlikely to be of any help to me. It’s Deltas gamble to get 35 more RJs in the air. If they really want this, the stakes need to be higher for them. Make a flow up that exists as long as the flow down does, for all future EDV pilots. Make it a recruiting tool. Don’t tie it to winning the scope arbitration - EDV doesn’t have a horse in that race, and probably won’t fly any of the 35 aircraft.

Delta is playing us (no surprise there). They get to fly more RJs as soon as this is signed, and our flow starts. How many months do you think until an arbitrator throws this out? 60-100 pilots? They get all the bitter double no folks who need to retire in five years anyway. Delta wins.

As offered, it’s a no from me.

What more could you want? I honestly do not get it? How will it not help you, unless you’re not on property? Then you do not have a say anyway.

Again why does it matter? I mean honestly what the **** more do you people want? The union did exactly as promised. Progression for all. Please explain how it’s a turd deal?

I would like to see a flow for new pilots. Other regionals are matching 9E’s pay so what else can they offer. Pay bump? But you are correct regarding the Union. Probably a small number of guys will be a no vote but I see this passing overwhelmingly.

I understand that. But we’ve made Endeavor the best regional. It’s time to pass the torch.

This isn’t progression for all, it’s “progression for us.” Pulling up the ladder behind us, leaving tomorrows’ pilots with 8 years on the contract, a permanent flow down provision, but absolutely no guaranteed and contractual career progression doesn’t sound like ALPA’s campaign. Especially since COVID hit.

As we entered 2020, our preeminent goal was to achieve guaranteed and contractual career progression for the pilots of Endeavor Air. As the impact of COVID-19 continues to unfold, questions have been asked about the viability of the PFA campaign or whether we should continue to advocate for progression. The answer is unequivocally YES. This campaign is no longer just about Endeavor pilots securing careers at Delta, it is now about all of us progressing through this challenge together. I have continuously promoted this campaign as unifying and positive, something we need now in our industry more than ever. We want TSA and Compass pilots to progress to new jobs, we want Delta to progress back to profitability, we want aviation to progress toward normalcy and we want this crisis to progress to its end. I believe the PFA campaign is more critical today than ever before as a symbol of our unity and strength. Wear the orange lanyard with pride, take care of each other and we will not just survive, but eventually thrive.” -NJ MEC Chair.

Why does everyone think that the “Bitter” double no guys are going to want to flow? Especially those close to retirement? I would wager that the percentage will be fairly low.
