I'm sure it has more to do with the show times which will change soon anyway. Seems dangerous to me anyway especially on the 200 to have the FA go off alone to a different hotel, but in some of those places they do stay in some nice hotels.

Heh, the FA's last trip must have not gotten the memo then if that's our policy.

There were 8 pilots. And they all had their reasons why they'd get stapled. It was remarkable enough to remember from 6 months ago

They are doing that to make the merge easier."
That lasted as long as the FA's having the earlier report time...now that we all are reporting 45 minutes before departure... we are all back to the same crap locations.

Anyone else notice they don't have hardly any open-time available? Wasn't the new rules supposed to have a certain percent available? I noticed all previous months there was a ton, now that they offer 150%, hardly any available.. Maybe overall less flying for January?

it was supposed to be 3% now instead of 1% after line construction.... sure didn't look like that, then I'm guessing there were build up lines that took up most of that... Now there are 1 open trips for January in DTW 900 CA list (a less than min day turn to PIT. who is going to pick that up for 2.2 hours pay?).

Hint: It's not. Sometimes we layover with them, sometimes we don't. They do completely different trips as they can swap around between aircraft types and have different work rules.

There was a group of pilots wives pushing for that back in the late 90s but it never really took.

Thanks for the info. I assumed this WAS Delta policy, and further I had heard the pilot wives were the driving force behind this. I guess that part is true, though they apparently didn't actually succeed.
