What a dumb question.
Is Envoy training department so incompetent they can't project completion and retention rates? Many of your pilots have complained how screwed up your managers are, but I didn't think that made them completely unprofessional and incompetent. Do you work for the pilot side or the manager side?

How would you project that? Assume that people of a certain age will be gone within a certain time frame? Prior work history? Commuter v non-commuter... ?

Just go to Vegas and put $20 on black. Your odds at getting it right would be better.

So far that statement has proved to be incorrect.

They can use previous data, but class demographics change. Washout data is one thing. I've never seen a company say that they project a fixed date when a pilot will quit.

While your statement is true, it does not negate mine.

The Letter T returnees were figured into the mathematical formula that got us to the 6 year flow. We already knew that this was going to happen. And they are likely to still flow a few each month anyway when they don't have to. It's a win for Envoy for sure as it keeps the flow right under 6 years.

Envoy is absolutely the place you want to go if you desire to work for AA.

If the Letter T pilots were used for calculating projected numbers, how does that jive with flowing 300+ this year? Or will 250 suffice as "around 300" as far ast he company is concerned? Close enough for atom bombs and corporate math.
