It is nice that there are pay raises every few months. Is there any way to get the pay changed here on APC? I posted the new pay rates a few pages ago, and some are a couple dollars more than what is posted.

It goes to show what the quality of information is on a site like this.

The more I read your posts on this thread, the more I think you're in the marketing/recruiting department at PSA.

I'm guessing he's one the 10-month captains and that's why he thinks he knows everything. When you don't spend much time on the line as an FO, upgrade quick and fly with mostly new FOs, you become out of the loop on a lot of things.

Na. Not this guy. I just think that it is not fair when incorrect information is being posted. Other airlines are saying that they pay more, but in the end, those rates are really misleading. I would want to know the "facts" are actually correct for any airline. If others pay more, change them on here too. It isn't fair to present false information to people that are trying to compare airlines.

If I were in management, I would be embarrassed at how ridiculously long it takes to get a new pilot from indoc to flying the line. 4+ months?!?! Ridiculous! The training department needs to do something to speed up, or just skip a class and get caught up.

There are stories about people going to IOE and not being up to speed with callouts and flows and getting sent back to sims/IPT's. Sure, those pilots should have probably spent more time keeping things fresh, but the training department is just as much at fault.
