"Bidding on open time during the Schedule Adjustment Period (“SAP”) will be conducted electronically in real time and will be awarded on a first-come, first served basis."
I think they meant TSA time, they are telling people in ATL to show up 3 hours in advance due to wait times
From 9p processed at 430a
From 11p processed at 619a
18 denied's, 0 approvals, 5 processing to date
Glad I went to bed and gave up, I'm sure that was their intent.

Every single pilot needs to email the MEC and say this is enough of this crap. These processing times are ridiculous and the issue needs to be fixed. Every one of you should email TR, and then tell your friends to do the same. Let's see how well our new MEC chair can get something done then.

Got a couple approved within 15 minutes right at the start. Now they are all taking hours and hours and they are all denied. Over 30 denials on mine now. Sheesh. Heard a rumor that they might start running the CA and FO SAPs on a different day to speed up processing times. I don't know if it will really help much. Even if they cut these processing times in half they are still awful. I've still been able to get everything I want/need in the SAP every month since I've been round 1, but this is frustrating.

Forget SAP, Just call in sick for the days you need off.
The company sells SAP as a benefit to the pilot group, but the truth is, SAP benefits them just as much by allowing pilots to arrange their schedules around the days they want off, therefore reducing the total number of sick calls.
Since the process in place to reduce sick calls is failing then we have no option but to rely on the previous process.
Make sure your wait until less than 12 hours prior to show time.

The current upgrade time for a new hire today is 4+ years.
The current flow for a new hire today is 15+ years.
The current wait to hold a round 1 line for a new hire is more than 18 months in the only commutable base.
Even after you hold a line, the SAP is worthless.
The management is hostile towards pilots, and will threaten you if you try to call in sick or fatigued, or if you refuse an extension.
If you use more than a few sick days a year, you will be written up (you can not use the sick hours that you accrue without being sent a letter of warning).
The recruiters will lie to you.
Your Union will not support you.
(In some cases, our recruiters are also union officials, which shows the level of hypocrisy with both groups)
If you are considering coming to PSA, be aware that you will be stuck on reserve for a LONG time. You will be capped at 4 year pay, and will not upgrade for years. You will never flow to American.

Did you ever make it out to the MEC meeting in DAY last week?

I don't care who you email, but call/email someone. Complaining on forums doesn't do much. 200+ emails in someone's inbox of people fed up with this SAP bs would wake someone up. And if not then it becomes official that we have no union.
