The commuter hotels program is kinda "meh" in a lot of people's minds. First they said "effective immediately" way back in May, then figured out they had no clue what they were doing so they moved it out to July 1. I have no idea of how functional the program is going to be, especially when compared to other carriers they give you 4 nights a month and all you have to do is call scheduling and they get it set up for you.
The 15K would be a big help, but that amount really needs to be dropped and rolled into pay rates, IMO. Even then, you'd still see the money your first year without having to deal with a two year contract for the bonus.
Also keep in mind that "down south" will be a two leg commute to reserve to any of our junior bases, unless "down south" is referring specificaly to TYS.
All that said, I expect some big changes soon.

I'm currently in Dallas but I'm interested in moving back down south. I'm exploring all my options at this point. I like the 3k extra for hotels ect. That extra will help me financially. I don't have much money and it would be nice to finally say that I'm making some sort of progress financially.

I specifically want to move to Nashville. I was getting excited a few months back when I read that BNA was in the running for a crew base. I think BNA would be popular. Low cost of living and a nice growing city. That would be great for me. I'm aware of the TYS base and that is roughly a 3 hour drive from Nashville. Either way I'm going to have to make a choice very soon within the next month. I only have PSA and Envoy on the radar. I just want a company that I can call home. Also I've thought of the commute and If its 2 legs that will get old really fast.

Are you seriously happy sitting back for 10 years while you wait, while everyone else is getting hired off the streets elsewhere years before you flow? Doesn't seem worth the pay cut.

That so called flow is worthless.People have left psa, went to work somewhere else for 6months or so and been hired by AA off the street. All of the other idiots are still there providing cheap lift for parker for the next 10 years, waiting on a flow that will probably go away as the staffing issues worsens.
