or, God forbid your pilots don't accept pieces of junk. If it's broken, fix it.

The Envoy 700's seem to always have significant problems, and lots of MEL's. They are bent, do not fly straight, require signifiant trimming, and are just worn in general. It is not uncommon to have 3-4 MEL's on one of those. In comparison, it is rare to have more than 1 MEL in a PSA airplane, and I have gone several trips with never flying a 700 or a 900 with any MEL's at all.

So, in comparison, the Envoy 700's are junk.

I do care what airplane I fly when it means more work. No one wants to see an airplane with the APU deferred, or the FMS in-op, or the only lav not working.
The E175 is a better machine IMHO.

It all depends on the maintenance. With good maintenance, they are all good. With bad maintenance, even the best airplane is garbage.

Question?....After the initial interview process how long would it be before a class date is scheduled. Also is it possible to have training complete and be working by the holidays? I personally would like to be finished by Thanksgiving. Thank you.

It depends on your circumstances. I talked with a guy recently that got a class date less than 2 weeks from interviewing. I would try to interview as fast as you can (we are interviewing on-site at job fairs) and tell them that you will accept the first class date. PSA is NOT filling classes, so you can probably get your choice.

OK sounds good, I'm planning on being in Charlotte for a interview in September. If I can also get a class date 2 weeks after the interview that's even better for me. As this year is ending fast I think it will be beneficial for me to get going ASAP.

Spot on. Envoy guys probably assume we are saying this to hate on Envoy, but the truth is the airplanes are just absolute crap compared to the PSA 700's. The NextGen ones don't seem to have issues though.
