Where are the "official" acceptance numbers?

Andy posted the information.
Don't confuse apples and oranges. UAL bypass is ten years from furlough date and bypasses are unlimited until that time date. That, also, has nothing to do with the CAL jobs or a bypass and rights under that agreement.
The UAL furlough mitigation side letter is only effective until a new JCBA is negotiated. It's inclusion is at the discretion of ALPA to continue it. Whether that happens or not, remains to be seen.
Bottom line: regarding a UAL recall, with mitigation letter still in the CBA, 10 years from date of furlough.

No worries; I didn't want you to be surprised if you delayed returning for quite a while.
And also remember that this section could be revised in the JCBA so it's not something that's written in concrete. ... the union could negotiate away 10 year recall rights for something shorter ... like 5 or 7 years or something similar.

Very true. I've been posting this stuff for quite awhile, but folks drink at the trough when the finally decide to.
The provisions of the furlough mitigation letter could go "bye bye" in the stroke of a pen when the JCBA comes to signing. Will they? Who knows?

It seems like we are always one step behind Delta when it comes to furlough rights. The first time around, we had to come back or quit, before they hired off the street. Delta guys/gals could bypass up to 10 years.
The second time we got the 10 year deal, but as I understand it, if we decide to come back lets say at year 8 or 9 and there are no classes, we would lose our rights to come back after 10 years. What I heard from Delta guys is that they just have to decide to come back before the 10 year mark. This last provision I think was negotiated during the merger.
And I'm pretty sure they get pay longevity too.
I could be wrong in my facts, but it sure would be nice to get the same opportunity for those of us that would like to stay away as long as possible.

Does anyone know if the first sentence is correct? If there are no classes available, you lose your 10 year recall rights? Andy?
Also, if you wanted to take a recall to ensure you are on the property, but you were currently committed to a contract, can you take the recall, and then go on leave of absence until your contract was completed? I can't remember how that worked on Furlough #1 but I thought that's what happened. .

Got the email today for Feb 7th class. It looks like those who came off bypass filled the second January class completely, and took 5 slots in the First Feb class. Next round of letters should go out soon according to andy.

Looks like CN was busy today as the 1/24 letters went out today as well. 1/24 class has 16 slots and I'm #3 seniority wise as a 2/99 hire FWIW.

Actually the 1/24 class is full now. I came off bypass and there was not room for me. 5 of us were put in the Feb 7th class. The next offers to go out will likely cover the remaining slots in Feb. FWIW im 10/99 hire.

If you are not back on property at the 10 year date of your furlough you are terminated... But as pointed out the entire agreement could change in a stroke of a pen...
