Omnicare, thats funny. The only "Omnicare" is how much money they are making. We are all worthless necessities in their eyes that have the privilege to work for the "best" airline.

Fuss, fuss, fuss. (Filter won't let me use the "B" word.)

Same people; same noise.

Tolerate it, fix it, or quit.

Quietly.

Like a man.

Whiners.

That's a fact. Some of us can't do any "better", some of us are content (with most things), and some people have been here too long and need to move on. We shall see what the next mediation session holds, but I really hope the pilot group gets to see something concrete from the company and union before the fourth quarter.

Default Omni life

I've received multiple emails from a Lindsey Webster asking me to complete the application, over the past few months. From what I've heard, QOL, pay, coach travel, benefits, etc are all lacking, which is why I haven't completed the app. Can anybody give me any info on the above issues for a First Year FO?

Maybe someone will post the website [or a link to it] that will reflect the OAI "bullet point" offers being discussed?

What is your career objective? I was a regional captain with plenty of hours when I went to Omni. I wanted better résumé experience. I went to Omni and got it. That led, in a short time, to my career objective. If you are looking for a place to retire then I would keep looking. But if you're looking for a résumé builder, I can't think of a better one. This is all assuming you can afford the pay cut. I loved being home based too.

Omni is hiring, but how many? Is the hiring due to retiring, or CAs/FOs going to greener pastures? Fleet growth?

Also, are pilots flying more than guarantee? How many hours of per diem can one anticpate per month?

Only management knows the numbers for hiring. Probably not more then 10 per month since the training department can't handle more than that efficiently. Most pilots leaving are for much better pay, benefits, and company culture.

Very few pilots make over guarantee and if your including per diem with those numbers don't bother considering Omni for your financial future.
