Presuming you did NOT opt out of the MBCBP, it shows up on the 15th of the month after the "spill" happens. So, if you just hit the limit (I also stops if you reach $350k of W2 earnings), look in Fidelity on 15 October, and you will see a separate account within the splash page that lists "Delta Air Lines Market Based Cash Balance Plan". The inputs always show up a month after the deposit actually occurs.

I'm a Line holder this month, on RES next month. I don't have the PWA or SRH handy...
Yesterday I get a call from CS (I'm off) and just assumed it was another IA call. Instead it was CS placing a line check trip, over 30 days out, on my schedule on one of my LC days. I'm guessing it's legal since it seems like they have carte blanche on anything training related? It's just a one day trip and pretty easy but still seems unusual. I of course have not acknowledged anything. Does this count as proper notification?

You have no obligation to respond to or acknowledge any scheduling contact as a REG pilot. Any rotation assignments next bid period require with telephone contact from crew scheduling when you are on a contactable status (LC or SC), or if you are assigned an earlier rotation next month you’d be notified by seeing it on your required schedule check prior to rotation release.

Decided to fly it and get paid later but it was like pulling teeth. ALPA said I was due pay, but it took 9 freaking months and multiple emails and calls to actually pay out.

Training operates in its own separate world from scheduling and it’s complete BS. Scheduling rules and PWA stuff are complete afterthoughts to them. I had a line check assigned at 0600 on day 1 of a LC block. Called scheduling and said that was in violation of the PWA and they said sorry it’s a training thing and scheduling can’t touch it. It was also a weekend so calls to training went to voicemail, cause who the heck works weekends.

It was an illegal assignment.
Once you made yourself aware of your schedule you would have seen the assignment and you would not have the FAR minimum rest so not only would it be a PWA violation, it would be an FAR violation.
You could have sat at home and someone would have got a GS to cover the trip short notice.
It's my personal opinion that more pilots need to push back and make the company follow the PWA instead of just having the "I'll get paid" mentality. It reinforces to the company that we are OK with them wiping their arse with our contract as long as they throw a little extra cheddar our way.

I'm well aware of the current level of PWA awareness from our pilots.....schedulers are employed by the company and I expect them to lean toward the company advantage when it comes to PWA interpretation....but I expect (and demand more) from my fellow pilots with regards to upholding our negotiated PWA.
