Don't give them any ideas. Imagine if we start seeing "massive" upgrade announcements before the quarter ends and pay outs happen. "Hey we're giving you a bonus but we found our loophole to not pay it."

I believe, whole whole-heartedly, that the reason the flow is just smoke and mirrors for everyone not super senior is because everyone within the top 50% of any regional seniority list will get hired outside of a flow somewhere worth being within 5 years. So why sacrifice seniority, qol, and pic time to jump ship now when unless a market crash, or airline crash, or another unknown would stop you from going anyways. Enjoy the qol why you have it and put the apps out for better things.. But don't jump ship for the relatively same thing with less seniority now.
Back in the late 1980s, a coworker's husband considered making a lateral move from Jetstream International to Britt. At the time Jetstream International was a Piedmont Commuter and Britt was a Continental Express carrier.

I recommended he stay put. At the time, majors were hiring and I told him they might question the lateral move and want to know if he felt he was about to be fired. He was commuting and would have to commute to a Britt domicile so that wasn't a valid response. I'm not sure where they are now.

I don't know if this is the case now but multiple lateral moves in a short period might raise similar questions. Leaving a carrier where you were in the top half of a seniority list could raise some unwanted attention and curiosity.

There was..."24 months or until upgrade"...the way this place interrupts and the union acquiesces" upgrade" means announced and awarded...

"We have determined that we need new 500 captains over the next 60 months. Class dates will be given in accordance with seniority, bid closes in 5 days"..but you are awarded a class date in 55 months..

But the advertisements were out touting the new commuter hotel--2 months from implementation- and 20k retention bonus before the email..

This a the small-minded older regional Managment philosophy..."get them in the door and they have to stay."

This career field has become like so many others were "talent" can move.

Some truth for a habitual lateral mover, but there are very good reasons to leave Psa.

Lots of other factors make a candidate attractive and the market has shifted.

If someone makes it to an interview it should be very easy to communicate the reason concisely and if it is for any "reasonable" reason ANY pilot/HR will understand.

I understand I will not the results of my decision for probably two - three years but in my 20 years in corporate America I always saw companies with good mgmt do well for employees and stock holders and the opposite as well. I placed my chips on Ed Bastian and Delta over Parker and American. Time will tell. Today's decisions should be based on knowledge and future goals. Good luck to everyone at PSA. I'm not here to recruit for Endeavor just share info if anyone wants to know. I can say in my first 6 weeks at PSA I could tell it was not a well run company. Make you own decisions and don't fault others for their decision. Good luck to all.

Thanks for your honest feedback. I'm starting to think that Endeavour is the airline to apply to despite what PSA recruiters are saying.

You can see Delta history with regionals. I won't be surprised if they pull a Comair/ASA/Compass to Endevour once they get their own regional lifting in house.

I rather be at another regional and try to get hired at Delta vs waiting for an interview with a high rate of failure.

Good luck in your decision, this career is a marathon, not a 100m sprint.

So I just saw one of your f/o's doing push-ups by the left main gear of a -200 in AGS. Like 30 push-ups.

What did I just witness?

I'm going to take a wild guess and say you saw an FO doing push-ups.
