All pilots get priority on their own metal. Now the tricky part is when one tries to jumpseat on an Eagle flight operated by someone other than envoy. Each has their own rules on it but safe to say it's usually the first one to the gate to check in.

Thanks. I had heard that the DFW flights from my city would be going to Envoy, which would help commuting all the more. From what I have been told, most of the commuters are ORD based, and there aren't too many DFW guys. Whatever advantage I can get when it comes to getting to work is helpful.

It looks like it. The proximity of ORD would be nice, but the eternal reserve of the ERJ and CRJ would suck. At least if I take the 175, then I will be on property when #'s 5 & 6 show up of the second batch. I would hold a line quicker, and have a better QOL. I really don't care what I fly, but the 175 looks like it will make my home life a bit better in the long run.

This is true. The senior FO's on the CRJ and the EMJ are stuck with those crappy schedules while new guys like ourselves are enjoying the better lines and the Bonuses too!

Just the way it is I guess.

Haven't you already been banned on APC under the name eaglefly?

I get why other first officers would be hostile, and that the very same thing could happen to me. I fully expect to be pushed down the list via displacement as the CRJ leaves the fleet. I can't argue with past negotiations or policy implementation because I didn't have a dog in the fight. I just want to fly and have the best QOL that I can hope for.

I wouldn't necessarily say the the CRJ will be leaving Envoy's fleet. I know that's what AAG wants. The problem is that the pilot supply well for all regionals is dry. Envoy can't get guys, PSA can't get guys and all of the other regionals are having a hard time as well.

Notice that AAG keeps moving the CRJ transfer date to PSA further into the future. They are exceptionally good at "kicking the can." In other words, just address the problem right in front of us and not try and find a long term solution. If you go to Envoy, there is a very good chance you won't be displaced due to this.

So is that a yes or a no?

Dear Envoy posters,

This is my annual checkup. How's that 2.5 upgrade / 6 yr flow working? That was mentioned exactly 1.5 years ago. So according to your devine wisdom they should be a year away from upgrade!! How far did that fall from the truth...
